This documentary addresses systemic racism and discrimination embedded within the child welfare institution. Aboriginal fathers and grandfathers involved with child welfare identified that they are not recognized as parents, stereotyped and have a lack of resources to turn to. Labelled as dangerous offenders, not recognized as a parent and often not encouraged to maintain a relationship with their children, Aboriginal fathers speak up about their journey.
