Creating Hope Society of Alberta is looking for a Drum facilitator that can teach youth how to sing Powwow songs and how to drum on a Powwow drum.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Knowledge on Singing/Drumming Powwow Songs
- Prior Facilitation Experience an Asset
- Prior Experience Working with Youth an Asset
- Friendly, Professional and Outgoing to Promote Positive Working Relationships
- Driver’s License and Vehicle an Asset
- Excellent Organizational, Written and Oral Communication Skills
- Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check & Child Welfare Check
- Must be Double Vaccinated
Responsibilities:
- Teaching Youth how to Sing & Drum various Powwow Songs
- Knowledgeable on Teachings of the Drum
- Ability to Commit to 2 hours a week on Tuesday eveningsc
