Description:

Creating Hope Society of Alberta is looking for a Drum facilitator that can teach youth how to sing Powwow songs and how to drum on a Powwow drum.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Knowledge on Singing/Drumming Powwow Songs
• Prior Facilitation Experience an Asset
• Prior Experience Working with Youth an Asset
• Friendly, Professional and Outgoing to Promote Positive Working Relationships
• Driver’s License and Vehicle an Asset
• Excellent Organizational, Written and Oral Communication Skills
• Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check & Child Welfare Check
• Must be Double Vaccinated

Responsibilities:

• Teaching Youth how to Sing & Drum various Powwow Songs
• Knowledgeable on Teachings of the Drum
• Ability to Commit to 2 hours a week on Tuesday evenings
